We are 31 weeks along as of today!

We put Christmas lights up outside on Sunday night. I have to say, the sounds associated with extension ladders and untangling strands of lights always reminds me of National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. We also installed the last set of balusters in the attic that night!

On Monday, Kurt donated blood while I had (what I hope was) my last orthodontic adjustment. We drove down to Rye the next day with all our furry kids in tow, ready for a fun weekend (consuming lots of sugar) with family and friends. We’ll get back to more housework and doctor appointments next week.

Development

BunBun is now the size of a foam finger, around 17.5 inches long, and weighs over 3.5 pounds. His neck is more flexible than before, allowing him to turn his head. At this point, his body is focused on packing on the pounds!

My Pregnancy Experience

Ten hours of driving/being in a car between Tuesday and Wednesday left me with some swollen ankles. BunBun has been very active this week, giving a good number of kicks and pushes to my bladder and the bottom of the right side of my rib cage. (I’m thinking that he may have spun around so he’s facing downward, but I’m not sure.) Nine more weeks!!
