25 Weeks
Today marks 25 weeks pregnant!

This week’s photo was actually taken in the nursery, which is very close to being ready for furniture. We have carpet tiles on the way (arriving tomorrow!) to make the painted wood floor cozier and are planning to pick out a crib within the next few days. We also removed the old door that separated our bedroom from the nursery to sand it down for a new coat of paint. In the meantime this week, we whittled away at things that need to be done for our Certificate of Occupancy, like railings in the attic and sealing off a window near our propane fireplace vent. Always some project underway at the Josephson abode!
Our little BunBun has been getting increasingly active this week. If I put something on my belly while he’s awake, you can see it move when he kicks! So cool!
Development
BunBun is now the size of a baseball mitt, about 14 inches long, and he weighs about 2 pounds. BunBun’s hair is thickening and probably has color. His new sense of balance means he may start to turn upside down to prepare for his trip to the outside world; however, he could also wait to do this until the last month.
Symptoms
Nothing particularly unsavory this week. We’re still enjoying the second trimester ride!
