We are now 21 weeks along!

In the last week, we’ve made some significant progress on the nursery. It now has a door separating it from the hallway! Dick and Kurt hung it on Monday and had to make some last-minute adjustments, as is always the case in this crooked house. The two double-hung windows in the nursery were painstakingly re-glazed. (The majority of the 24 individual panes had to be taken out so they could be cleaned and given a fresh, glazed border.) Kurt even patched a few annoying holes in the nursery floor. (His routing skills are on point!)

Development

BunBun is now the size of a baseball cap, about 10.5 inches long from head to toe, and he weighs about 12 ounces according to general pregnancy guidelines. His skin is very wrinkled (and still a bit see-through), but it will eventually expand and smooth out as he gains baby fat.
