Today, we are 19 weeks along!

We had a wonderfully cheap night out last Saturday: free concert in Albany followed by a comedy show (that I obtained free tickets for) with one of our favorite comedians headlining. Total win! Kurt spent more time in California this week. While he was gone, my bottom braces were put on and the top ones were adjusted, making eating a bit of a challenge.

Development

BunBun is now the size of an old-school Gameboy, about 6 inches long from crown to bum, and he weighs about 8.5 ounces. He’s beginning to sprout tiny hairs on his head, and he’s gaining more control over his arms and legs. Surprisingly, he’s likely sucking his thumb already!

Symptoms

Because I’m pretty forgetful in general, I didn’t think I’d notice “pregnancy brain” symptoms. I was wrong. I’m sure my forgetfulness today was a bit more than ordinary. This morning, I dialed my stepdad’s phone number and let the dogs out while holding the phone at my waist. Fast forward about one minute, and I heard my stepdad yelling my name from the phone, still at my waist! Hah! I forgot I dialed his number, but he answered and did his best to get my attention back. THEN! I had to make a trip to town to buy some hinges at Lowe’s. I stepped out of my car and realized I wore my pink, fuzzy slippers. I immediately jumped back in the car, called Kurt, laughed it off, and proceeded to do my errands in the fuzzy slippers. I’m pretty sure all of this was thanks to BunBun. 🙂
