Eleven weeks in!

Kurt and I went for a hike on Friday…staying active! The spackle on the ceiling in the nursery (and our bedroom) was finished on Monday, so we’ll be able to start the floor soon. We spent an annoying amount of time trying to line up non-invasive prenantal screening this week and are now waiting on insurance to get back to us. Tonight we’re going to see John Mulaney in Albany – great way to celebrate 11 weeks!

Development

BunBun is now the size of a brussels sprout, about 1.5 inches long. This week, it’s growing fingernails and hair follicles. The placenta is becoming increasingly functional, allowing BunBun to take more control over its own hormone production.

Symptoms

Another easy week. Feeling bloated all the time, though, is going to be the new norm.
