September 27, 2014 was a big day – it’s the day we went yellow! With a power-painting-party that included Kurt’s parents, my stepdad, and one of my brothers, we put a coat of yellow paint on the whole house in six hours. It was incredible. The decision to go yellow wasn’t an easy one. Many of the old farmhouses in the area are classic white, and they look great, but yellow is cheerful and different. Choosing the shade of yellow was a process in itself. We ended up going with Behr’s Sweet Chamomile. We now live in “that yellow house”…and I love it!
